When Laci took over The Nutrition Shoppe in June 2021 after being laid off from her position at Cancer Treatment Center, she didn't just find a new job - she found her calling. Now, nearly five years later, her passion for helping the Okmulgee community invest in their health has led to an exciting expansion that's bringing even more to downtown.

On March 9, 2026, LACI's NUTRITION SHOPPE opened its doors at a new, larger location at 112 S. Morton in Okmulgee, just one week after closing the original shop at 205 W 7th Street. The move marks a significant milestone for a business that will celebrate 35 years of serving the community this July.

From Cancer Care to Community Care

Laci's journey to business ownership is one of inspiration and purpose. Working at Cancer Treatment Center taught her two invaluable lessons: the critical importance of top-quality supplements and the value of treating customers like family.

"I learned what top quality supplements are and how important it is to treat your customers as family," Laci shares. "I am so passionate about this industry and am very blessed to be able to do what I love!!"

Local Beef Selection - One of the most exciting additions is locally raised beef from EZ Angus Beef and CV Ledbetter & Son. All beef is USDA processed and supports hardworking Oklahoma ranch families. Current cuts include ground beef, ribeye, T-bone, KC strip, various roasts, tenderized round steak, and stew meat.

Literature Corner - Understanding that education is a huge part of health, Laci created a cozy reading space where customers can browse books on natural health and wellness, educational pamphlets, and product information.
