This is the opening day of the Handmade Artisan Crafted Market, and it's a good one. Over 15 vendors selling things they actually made themselves... homemade soaps, fresh baked treats, handcrafted decor, plants, jams, jewelry, and a whole lot more.

 

Real people, real handmade goods. Worth the stop.

Twin Hills Indian Community Spring Market Day

Whimsical Mushroom Paint Party

Line Dancing with OklaMOTION Dance Studio

Okmulgee Pecan Festival — Okmulgee is known for this one far beyond county lines. A long-standing local tradition that draws people from all over. If you've never been, that's worth fixing.

Okmulgee Invitational Rodeo and Festival — One of the longest-running rodeos in the country. Big energy, real community, and a whole lot of fun. Seriously, if you haven't gone yet... go.

 

Harvest Spoon Chili Festival — A popular annual fall event with great food and even better community energy. It's one of those events that sneaks up on you and then you're hooked for life.

 

Okmulgee Farmer's Market — Runs weekly during warmer months. Fresh produce, local vendors, good people. This one's a community staple.

 

There's usually more going on than you hear about... unless you're plugged in.
