Some dogs just have a thing.
You know what I mean. That one quality that makes you stop scrolling and say, "Okay... tell me more."
For Roscoe, it's this: on walks, he stays right by your side. And if he gets a little ahead? He doubles back. (Just to check on you.)
That's not just cute. That's character.
Meet Roscoe
Roscoe is an Anatolian Shepherd and Great Pyrenees mix, almost 6 months old, and currently living with the Okmulgee Humane Society while he waits for his people.
He's playful. He's sweet. And according to everyone who's met him, he genuinely loves being part of your world.
He's not just a dog looking for a place to sleep. He's a sidekick looking for a story to be part of.
He's Ready. Like, Actually Ready. No "needs work" disclaimers here (well, except the house training... he's still a puppy, give the guy a break).
Roscoe has already been:
He's been with the rescue since March 2026, and he's cleared for adoption right now.
He's medium-sized, sporting a gorgeous apricot, beige, and white coat, and he weighs in at 26 to 60 pounds (he's still growing, which honestly makes it even better because... puppy phase!).
Is He a Good Fit for Your Home?
Here's what we know:
He's a young, healthy, happy puppy with a gentle giant bloodline.
Anatolian Shepherds and Great Pyrenees are both known for being loyal, protective, and devoted to their families. This combo is basically a recipe for "best dog ever."
